Mail reference

 Hi Florence, Venkata

Thanks for sending out the modified design, we've sent out the strip design to our vendor, we should close the "vendor design approval" tomorrow.

Sorry for the repeated change request in VDA ("vendor design approval"), we did follow standard procedure to go through PTI internal unit review, then send out strip drawings to Simmtech for design check.

In PTI unit review stage, we didn't catch any error or mismatch design during the first feedback. We got from our vendor about a new design suggestion, the only pointed out the land to land 30um design, however, after we sent out the updated design, our vendor pointed out another issue for the 40um space area, we've requested our vendor to make a clear description for VDA feedback to avoid the communication gap, also to share the capability and design requirement rule for different process.

So PTI could gate design issue with proper GRC threshold based on supplier capability in unit review stage, to shorten VDA period.

Thanks.

Best

How to work with your client to complete a project

Hi Adam,
As we discussed previously, our end customer would like to kick off a new product that can meet the more stringent requirements on thermal cycling management. Please come out with some ideas to improve the preliminary design which has higher possible trace cracking.
There are a few possible improvement ideas that need further discussion by next week:
1. The preliminary substrate design has some narrower traces width, resulting in a low resistance to trace cracking. We suggest increasing those traces' width with a special process from our vendor site.
2. The resistance depends not only on the defects on the substrate site. PCB thicker is easier to have higher stress for trace crack as well. We highly recommend reducing the total PCB thickness, please ask the end customer to deal with this solution
3. For most package designs, the thinner die thickness has lower stress for the package. However, it may suffer a warpage issue, therefore we would like to evaluate new encapsulation material with matches the thinner die thickness.

I am writing a new proposal and then reviewing it with our process team members. You will receive the proposed ideas and contents brief by next Monday.
We can begin work as soon as I receive your approval with my proposals. Thanks for your time.

Best,
Daisy

How to become the best version of myself?

I am happily living up to my full potential with my dog. All of my financial, emotional, and time commitment into my lovely dogs. However, I am trying to make the most of my abilities, I am going to improve my English by writing more blogs, doing better in my job, and feeling more fulfilled in my day-to-day life. Self-development is a lifelong process, I can start to read more motivating and inspiring books to find the best version of myself.

First of all, I am going to build a constructive foundation for my future. To establish some good habits and avoid wasting time on things that do not matter to me. Sometimes I still lack determination, perhaps I need to find somebody who has good qualities to give me some valuable advice

Second, do not waste too much money on some unnecessary goods. I do not wish can become a millionaire, but financial independence has to be in the future, specifically I am a forty-year-old lady in a foreign country, I have no company here. I could buy a house somewhere and quit my job if I am too old to work.

Thirdly, I want to become an open-minded person and take full responsibility for my life. To keep growing as a person, it is important to consider new ideas, release judgmental thoughts, and become more tolerant of others.

It is hard to do, even though there are too many setbacks or unexpectedly situations you could suffered, but I should try to focus on moving forward and making positive  changes.

Ukraine War Concern

In history books, we could read about some wars and the consequences after the wars. Eventually, we also can hear some unstoppable wars happened in Iraq, Aghan, and some developing countries.

However, it is still frightening all of us when Russia started invading Ukraine in 2022. Some people said Putin become psycho and skeptical after 2019 when he heard about Ukraine wanting to join NATO. Some mentioned about he wants to take over the energy resource in Ukraine and then he can manipulate all the resources in the EU.

I am not familiar with the history between Russia and Ukraine but I am started worrying about the war between China and Taiwan. If I had not any burden on my life, I am willing t join the military forces in Taiwan. Unfortunately I have a dog and I am responsible to take care of her until her death. Hopefully, that day would not come, if it did, I will do it because I love Taiwan very much, more than Malaysia.

What is the meaning of sucess?

Success is the ability to achieve personal, professional, and life goals. I like to idiom: " Sucess is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.

For me, I think I am a satisfied person who is able to help people in need, to pay money for my parents, and own the belongings that I wanted, that's called success.

From the working perspective, I am trying to notice my mistakes and adjust them to changes. Personally, I'd to learn how to communicate an effective story and make them logical especially in public.

About parenting

1. What does a good home look like and provide for both parents and children?

  • Everyone has their own demand or need, for both parents and children. There are too many roles to be played and adjustments to be made. Parents are supposed to be family leaders by recognizing their abilities and being more consistent with discipline. Try to have more practical expectations for your spouses and your kids. Try to make parenting a manageable job. Focus on the area that needs the most rather than trying to address everything all at once. Admit your weakness and forget yourself if you burned out. Take time out from parenting to do things that will make you happy as a loving couple. Focusing on every need does not make you selfish. It simply means you care about your own well-being, which is another important value to model for your children.

2. What are some daily routines and rituals that parents and their children can do together, and how might they result in bonding?

Creating structure at any age can help parents and their children. Children can begin learning routines and rules at a very young age. You can begin with routines for important activities of the day, like meals, bedtime, or in the morning. Starting from every morning, say “Good morning” and give a child a kiss and hug after parents wake up. And then waving your hands before leaving your house. This is a good ritual to show your love and caring. I suggested that this ritual can be practiced in early childhood for infants and toddlers, in the beginning, children feel sad and cry too hard, but over time and with patience, this daily routine smoothed the way for parting from daddy or mother at the family care home. Routines and rituals are sometimes used interchangeably. A typical schedule for infants and toddlers consists of arrival, playtime, snack, lunch, naptime, snack, and departure, with diapering taking place throughout the day. Some events happened and interrupt the schedule, but the patterns still need to be consistent and make them know what to expect and when to expect it. Enhancing aspects of routines can make them more manageable a meaningful to the child.  It is many little things you do, e.g. making pancake, pudding, playing cards, window shopping, singing rhythm songs together, and reading some books together, that kids will remember and create some vivid family memories.

For example, my mother did not like us to waste any food after a meal, she used to scold us stare at us strictly to make us feel ashamed. Since my childhood, I do not like to retain any waste on my bowls. This behavior is not necessarily good or bad for us, but for sure it has a firmly bonding between parents and children.

3. What does healthy communication between a parent and child look like? Why is it important for children? What should it include? How should it be approached?

You cannot expect kids can do everything that you want them to do. They want and deserve explanations as much as adults do. If we do not take time to explain, kids will begin to wonder about our values and motives and whether they have any basis. Try to explain it as clear as possible, express your feelings, invite kids to work on a solution with you. The most important is to include the consequences based on different suggestions or choices they made. Be open to your suggestions as well and negotiate them. Kids who participate in decisions are more motivated to carry them out.

4. What are the benefits and drawbacks of free-range parenting?

The kids are allowed to have the freedom to experience the natural consequences of their behavior when it is safe to do so. To ensure the kids have the skills they need to become responsible adults. For example, my parents allowed me and my siblings to go to school from 12 years old individually. Our school is far away from our house, we need to take at least 70 minutes by a school bus before 5:30am early morning. If we wake up late and fail to catch up on the school bus, we need to take at least 3 transition buses and consume at least 90minutes and 15minutes by walking from the terminal bus station to the school. The benefits of it are that I have been trained to independently take the bus for a longer period without my parents' company. I am also responsible to wake up earlier or take the school bus on time to avoid any further inconvenience.

5. How much independence should a young child have? How about a tween? A teenager?

My morning routine

It is 6am in the morning, I wake up and like to do some stretching. Stretching is a kind of difficulty with my dog because she is either sleeping around me or she is trying to roughhouse with me depending on my body position. Once she is getting into a playful mindset, it becomes really hard to ignore her. Once she starts rolling over in front of me like that means I have to drop everything and just play with her.

After 15 minutes of stretching my body, I get ready to put the straps on my dogs. My dog is lazy to walk, therefore I need to carry her to walk and walk the Huskey simultaneously for a while. After arriving at the dog parks in my neighborhood, she can be free to walk around there.

When we get back, it is the time for my dogs' least favorite part of the routine which is getting theirs' paws cleaned. I know they do not like getting their paws wiped but I have extra thorough because the floors could get very dirty and stinky, especially the grass area in the neighborhood is like a communal toilet for all the dogs. After wiping their paws, I like to wash my face and brush my teeth and get ready to go to my office.
