Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy uses the Fourier transform process to translate the interferogram into the actual spectrum. FTIR method is used to obtain the infrared spectrum of transmission or absorption of a sample. It identifies the presence of organic and inorganic compounds on the infrared frequency range from 400 to 4000cm-1. It can observe the chemical properties from the library information.
