Despite the climate talks COP26 held at the Glasgow conference, hundreds of millions of Indians burst the firecrackers this Thursday night, worsening air pollution levels. The air quality in Delhi turns toxic especially when farmers burn crop stubble, vehicles, and industrial emissions, and the bad weather makes it become the world's most polluted capital. Even though the government has banned the sale and bursting of firecrackers this year to tackle pollution problems. However, this problem still existed.
The next morning, a thick layer of smog blanketed the city and people complained of itchy throats and watery eyes.
