When I was sophomore in the second year University, I decided to live for myself without asking my parents help. I started to find more part-time jobs for my living expenses and school fees. I worked really hard in the first 6 weeks. I was struggling to pass my every exam since from that year.
I worked really hard in the first 6 months. I was struggling to pass my every exam since from that year. I woke up early 5 am to rush toward NTU sports center to open the big gate in the pool entrance. After 4 working hours, I went directly to my class for a day. I just took a cheap lunch, about NTD$25 dollar for a meal, only a meal, eggs, and some vegetables in a box. At night, I would take some time to support in the main door of NTU for collecting entrance fees in a parking lot. I did not really take care of myself. I slept very less, sometimes I could not sleep well as my roommates are night owls, still typing some words at the 2 am midnight. It is quite hard to think about the negative impact on my health.
I felt a bit exhausted and knackered after several weeks. I underestimated my physical limitation. Once a time, I fainted in front of my boss when I received my wages from her office. All the swimmers outside her office were stunned and sent me to health room. Fortunately, I survived and woke up after 30 minutes. I felt ashamed and regretted to ignore my health situation. After this bizarre experience, I tried to slow down my pace and laid back sometimes.
