November 11 represents four ones, or four singles standing together, which literally translates as "Single Sticks Holiday" and become the largest online shopping day in the world. This day was usually celebrated by unmarried people or single people, which have been widely used in online shopping platforms to increase more online sales.
In 2021, the most famous online retailer, Alibaba founder has been disappeared for a while. The Chinese economy is degrading especially since the estate developers are facing a lot of debts and consumers are suffering the power crunch, and inflation issues. There are very few promotions or mottos published over the air. I am curious about if this day has been forgotten or become less popular this year. I am not sure, I am not a shopaholic, not frequently go to shopping, just to buy some necessary things when I am available.
